My Experience At GE Aviation

Fresh off of graduating from Went\worth Institute of Technology I took up a job at GE Aviation. While there is not much I can disclose, I worked on the Black Hawk series of helicopters, specifically creating and editing the part to print fabrication process for manufacturing the engines. The task required me to be on the factory floor a lot, studying the various manufacturing techniques used to create Black Hawk parts. My role as CNC Manufacturing Engineer Planner had me act as a sort of liaison for the engineers and machinists to make sure parts are manufactured to design and the designs have ability to be feasibly manufactured. I also took up various manufacturing courses while working at GE Aviation and earned my certification in GD&T 14.5 Tolerancing.
